March has arrived and the count down to our annual St Patrick’s Day celebration has begun so what better time to acknowledge the amazing generosity of so many Irish people (and of course beyond) over the last few months.
Irish donors really rallied and we have managed to collect a very significant figure which has contributed to the building of hundreds of homes for locals, provided food and water for people in need, and is now providing toilets and septic tanks for families who have never had a toilet in their home before (Its 2014!!).
In addition to this we have also just received around 80kgs of clothes and children’s toys donated via Noel Barnes from the great people of Fermoy and Co Cork. These items have been distributed widely around the island and are making a real difference.
March 17th is doubly special to us here as it is also the anniversary of Evolution and The Craic House’s official opening. Its been quite an eventful 4 years and you can be sure we will raise a glass to you all and we will celebrate more then ever that the business has pulled through and we can say that our community is stable and looking forward to the future. And its not too late to get to Malapascua to celebrate with us!
Go raibh mile maith agaibh agus slainte!
