Spike, Katy, Tim, Damo and IanThis year we have a schedule of non-stop tech-diving and training to keep you entertained and educated. In February Spike Hughes, an old friend of Matt’s, is here for 2 weeks of tech instructor level training. So far he has assisted Matt on the Advanced Nitrox/Deco Pro class of Tim Mcrea and Katy Fraser, and now they’re going to get started on Advanced Wreck Instructor training at the Dona Marilyn.
Spike and DamoSpike will be working with Damo Kruger, another returning friend, and Anna, Matt’s wife to be, during the class – he’ll be testing them through penetration skills and all kinds of emergency procedures to be able to safely enter and exit a wreck underwater.
Ian and TimAlso along for some fun tech dives was trimix diver Ian Adcock, who’s a regular visitor to the Philippines, but this was his first trip to Evolution and Malapascua. We hope to see Ian back again for lots more dives. Thanks for the loan of the pics Ian!
