While Evolution prides itself on offering the most advanced dive training available in The Philippines we also take great joy in bringing incredible first time experiences to some of our youngest customers.
When Mike Saveliev and his daughter Varvara came to Evolution for a week there was one thing on Varvara’s mind – Bubblemaker! At 9 years old Varvara is still too young to complete her Junior Open Water but with PADI’s Bubblemaker programme she can wear full scuba and dive with an Instructor to 2m.
Mike, an experienced diver, was keen to whet his daughter’s appetitive (no doubt to facilitate some more great dive holidays in the future!) and so who better for the job then our Swedish Instructor Dannie Holmstedt who is basically a big kid himself.
Dannie and Varvara formed a bond of trust and with Dad Mike accompanying them they made an incredible 5 dives over the week. Varvara got to see lots of marine life including of course the all important Nemo (sorry Amphiprion percula but this time it sounds right!) and dived Bantigue, The Coral Garden and Tepanee Cove, all under the direct supervision of Dannie.
Don’t forget Malapascua really is a fantastic family destination with Bubblemaker available for 8 to 10 years old and Junior Open Water available for 10+ years. Well done to Varvara and maybe see you back next year when you’re ten for your Open Water Course!
