Malapascua truly has the best selection of fantastic diving the Philippines has to offer.
Aside from the thresher sharks and great macro near to the island, we also have day trips to Gato Island and Kalanggaman Island.
As you can see from the photo, Kalanggaman is an absolutely pristine sandy island about 90mins from Malapascua. The dives there are colorful wall dives with a large amount of fish of all sizes to be seen. Every now and then a thresher and some turtles are seen; and as you can imagine the lunchtime surface interval at the beach is highly enjoyable and relaxing!
