Have you ever wondered about a getaway, from behind your desk, whilst working long hours staring outside at the rain ? Well ponder no further, as Evolution has a perfect 6 week plan with your name on it. Evolution staff will go above and beyond to make sure the training received will be of the highest quality and all expectations exceeded. Make your hobby a potential profession, and you might as well do it on a beautiful and remote tropical island in the Philippines!
With Evolution’s basic principles of low ratio groups (rarely ever having more than 2-3 Divemaster Candidates at any one point) and training based on real learning rather than just basic box ticking, your entry level qualification to the professional world will be of very a high standard.
Before any official programmes begin, multiple peak performance workshops take place, being moulded to the individuals required areas of improvement. Focus points being advanced finning techniques, trimmed positioning, and making buoyancy and breathing second nature – all aiding the ability to deal with multiple tasks at hand which happens daily in the professional world, and to make sure that environmental impacts are minimised.
Safety is of course a very important element of being a dive professional and a particular aspect we take pride in to make sure all divers with us are safe at the same time as being relaxed, and making the dive as enjoyable as possible. Again with thorough discussion and application of risk management our candidates soon learn the do’s and don’t’s and necessary decision making of a professional.
An overall aspect of the programme that significantly sets it aside is the customer interaction a Divemaster candidate gets here during the recommended 6 week term. As soon as the required segments of the Divemaster manual have been completed and throughly reviewed, the ability to assist on courses and to act as a mentor to student divers becomes vital experience for potential employment. From checking people in, being available to answer inquiries from guests and guiding dives (under the supervision of a mentor) for a realistic experience as a certified DM.
Whether or not you are doing your Divemaster to become an active professional, for conservation purposes, access to other areas of employment, or just for fun, your course can be tailored to focus on particular points necessary to you. If it’s extra skills for you to solidify before your Instructor course, getting your guiding to perfection before your job on a super-yacht in the Caribbean, or adding technical diving certifications to your resume, we can work with your end goals to ensure you have the course you desire.
