Typhoon Yolanda took a lot from Malapascua but it couldn’t break the local spirit or dent the sense of fun all Filipinos have, especially the kids.
Every year Evolution hosts an annual Christmas party for the kids in our area of Indonacion. Staff and divers volunteer to help organise the games and prizes and The Craic House Kitchen turns into a sweet spaghetti and hot dog with marshmallow factory. Yes hot dogs . . . with marshmallows.
This year MC Guada came from Cebu just to host the party and got the kids cheering and screaming as they contested the Kalamansi Spoon Race, Sack races and lots more.
The party was postponed from December as there was still so much clear up work to be done but finally happened in January and more then 300 kids left happy, full and most of them with prizes.
