The recent Tropical Storm Urduja has finally left the Philippines, but it spent a long time hovering over the Eastern coast and drop a lot of rain on the center of the country.
It also gave quite significant winds that stopped ferries and diving for a while. The winds always wash up a mix of natural and manmade items onto the beaches of Malapascua, and the beautiful beaches are very important to us so we like to make sure they are cleaned up quick.
No sooner had the rains stopped then we had a large team of folks out to rake the seagrass away and to bag up any manmade garbage that needs to be disposed of properly rather than in the ocean.
With the beach all cleaned up we soon got back to diving, and now the weather is beautiful again and everyone looking forward to some great xmas dives!
