Yes Malapascua was hit hard by Typhoon Haiyan. Yes there was damage and yes, the locals need your assistance to rebuild their homes and their lives. One of the best ways you can help support their return to normality is to ensure their jobs are secure by visiting Malapascua.
Evolution did sustain damage, but things are surprising similar to before the storm, just slightly less trees! The staff, rooms, diveshop and boats are ready to welcome you, and the new restaurant is due to be finished by xmas.
