When you see a shiny red sausage on a stick with two colourful Marshmallows at each end it can only mean one thing – its Evolution’s annual party for the children in our local sitio of Indonacion. Yet again The Craic House Kitchen brigade got to work making trays of chocolate brownies, kilos of spaghetti, countless frightening sausage and marshmallow sticks (a local delicacy) and sandwiches. For the 6th straight year we have fed almost three hundred children and brought a few smiles to our neighbourhood just before Xmas!
The event also saw a lot of games like the Kalamansi and Spoon race (definitely less wasteful then an egg) the paper dance and lots more. Our staff and customers volunteered their time to help out with this party and make it another great success. Thanks to Ma’am Erlita, teacher from the Elementary School for also helping set things up.
All the kids also got a practical giveaway – this time a sealable tumbler so they can bring clean water with them to school each day.
See you all next year kids!
